It is a poor idea to lie to yourself

This topic is very honest and self explanatory, I believe most of us do this even though we can be in denial but deep down we know the truth that “It is a poor idea to lie to yourself”
It’s a very bad habit that someone inherits just to make themselves feel better, yet another part of you or the passive voice disagrees to what your body is saying out there. It is very comforting especially to us with weight problem that been meaning to loose in the past 2 years, when people complain about it I simply say this weight goes with age and I think its maturity. Who at the age of 24 must have a flap jack tummy?
The lying has damaged my looks and the way I dress up because now I am forced to wear a size 36 with the hope that I will lose weight in no time and get back to my normal size. It won’t happen miraculously I will have to take steps otherwise I will have to keep on lying until I’m a size 40.
It’s very bad I must say………

Love does cost a thing

Ever heard of the saying Love doesn’t cost a thing? Well I have and I would like to differ with it.
Love does cost us, the minute you admit that you’re in love that’s when the costing will begin. You will start by investing your feelings, mind and body will all be attached to that person. Taking all your time spending with that person costs your strength. Some people buy their partners material things to keep them in a relationship, and that’s the costing because one believe they doing it out of love, well if they say so why not agree with it!!
What happen to the unconditional love that our parents had back in the days, with the generation of today we are all about the flashy stuff and expensive gifts?
Nothing in this world is for free, you will pay either way.

The sound of one hand clapping

Can one hand make a clap, that’s very strange and I’m actually thinking if how possible that is? It all starts with your mind, if you make it believe that it can be able to do something then I do not see the impossibility of not being able to clap with one hand.
The tricky part with this headline is that there is no right answer. What you are, or what you know and what you believe is basically what you always get.
It’s all in the mind.

Not all who wander are lost

Kunene pics.com

Not that every black person is a criminal

Every white man is not rich

Every Chinese guy is not intelligent or selling fake items

Some of the blacks do love sushi as much as the other Western and Asian cultures.

We can all do well even though we are not aware of the direction we are taking.

Long waited Achievement

It seem like a fairytale that this long waited day has finally came. CPUT is yet to pull another graduation ceremony for the current year on Cape Town and Bellville campuses from date 16 – 21 April 2012.

Some of us will be walking on that stage to accept our qualifications from professor Mazwi-Tanga on the 4th day of the event 19/04 with our families present to share the joy with us. This feeling is way beyond happy as I do not have a suitable word to describe it.

To those who did not make to walk in that stage of fame, in my language we say “Akulahlwa Mbeleko ngakufelwa” (You must never give up).

Finally ill have a chance to play my all time favourite song by Cece Winans – It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it and that’s me finally getting my National Diploma.
